Spotify Wrapped 2023: Taylor Swift Most Streamed Artist Globally

 

As the year comes to a close, music lovers worldwide eagerly await the unveiling of their Spotify Wrapped for 2023, announcing their most streamed artists, albums, songs, and podcasts, in addition to rolling out personalized stats for users on the platform.

In a feat that surprises no one, Taylor Swift claims her throne as the most streamed global artist on Spotify Wrapped 2023, unseating Bad Bunny, who held the crown for the past three years. With more than 26.1 billion streams worldwide, she scored an incredible number of listeners on Apple’s platform alone.

The rest of the global top five artists revealed The Weeknd, Drake, and Peso Pluma. She is also the most-streamed artist in the United States, followed by Drake, Morgan Wallen, The Weeknd, and Bad Bunny.

On the other hand, the title for the most-played song on Spotify went to Dave and Central Cee’s summer hit, “Sprinter.” Meantime, Miley Cyrus overcame Apple and Deezer with her post-break-up anthem, “Flowers.” Following behind Cyrus are SZA with “Kill Bill” and Harry Styles with “As It Was.”

However, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti has secured the first most streamed album globally for the second year in a row, with 4.5 billion global streams. Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” comes in second, with SZA’s “SOS” in third.

Spotify has unveiled their year-end charts by offering users a glimpse into their personal most-played songs. Spotify’s Wrapped feature provides insights into listeners’ music preferences, classifying them into special categories such as Shapeshifters and Alchemists.
